“The Blues” is a term for feeling inexplicably sad, down, depressed, low. 

I like the way these inanimate objects take on emotion by their placement.

 The gaping, black opening of the huge vase portrays emptiness. 

The smaller pots lying on their sides and on and over each other portray chaos,

uncaring and loss of identity.  The fact that nothing is flowing out of these pots

shows that there was never anything there worth keeping.
